More than a month ago I was contacted by our good friends Eva and Matt Foster about doing a photo shoot with of some of their family. I gladly accepted as I love photographing them mainly because of their VERY photogenic daughter Mackenzie. I’ve photographed her a couple of times now and she is such a wonderful subject in front of the lens and even though she is only 5, she takes perfect instructions for posing.
After going back and forth on when to schedule the shoot and where, we landed on Forest Park in Everett Washington on Mother’s Day. Luckily it was incredible weather that day however that made the park extremely busy but we were able to find some more secluded areas that wouldn’t be cluttered with people in the background. The other problem was the sun itself and shooting at 2pm. We HAD to shoot in the shade which was difficult to find at times.
In the end, we got some great family shots, some fun poses, recreated some older family photos that Matt and his brother had taken years ago, and some super cute images of Mackenzie. She was of course the star of the show.
Take a look at a couple sneak peeks from the shoot below.

Great pictures of your beautiful family. Mackenzie is so pretty just like her Mommy.
