On one sincerely beautiful day, Liz and Brandon said “I do” in pure, romantic elegance at the Pan Pacific Hotel surrounded by a whole lot of love. From the moment I sat down with Liz and Brandon, we knew this couple’s wedding wasn’t just about the day they were to become husband and wife, but more about capturing the soul-filled love they share for one another.

The little moments that are priceless, those often forgotten on a day filled with so much magic. From Liz’s champagne toast with her best friends to her epic first look with her parents, and the sweet vows Brandon spoke to her–this day was as much fun to be a part of as it was to be blessed in capturing every intimate moment with the happy couple.

After the sincerely sweet ceremony, it was time to get the party started. The reception venue was full of simple, lush elegance too! The room boasted of bright red roses intertwined with beautiful calla lilies because the couple really focused on making magical memories with friends and family instead of all the frills. The Pan Pacific Hotel really was the most amazing backdrop for a soft romantic glow as the evening went on.

As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture every detail, especially when the solemn vow Brandon pledged to Liz was sealed with one truly sweet kiss. Those moments capture your heart. Like the first look with her parents. Liz wanted intimate moments with both of her parents. So we did the first look for her dad and stepmom, as well as her mom and stepdad. It was such a cool moment, and both sets of parents had such amazing, genuine reactions to seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time.

Moments like these are exactly why I never leave a love story untold. While I try to nail all of the intimate moments, I also capture the candid moments you share dancing with your mother or your wedding party striking one amazing pose before they escort you down the aisle. Even those beautiful moments like the soft touch of the happy couple as they shared their first dance together or the moment the Brandon stole a kiss from his wife on the dance floor while no one was looking, this day stayed filled with true love.
