I mentioned some of this info in the sneak peek from a week or so ago but this is Michael, who is a good friend of mine that is currently in the Navy and will be deploying shortly, and his daughter Claire. Michael Recently came back to Washington to spend some quality time with his daughter before deploying. Just about every second of his time home was taken up by rushing around to see all his friends and family and showing off Claire.

A day or so before he had to leave, he called me early in the morning wondering if there was any way we could do a quick photo shoot that evening so that he could have some images of him and his daughter to take with him overseas as well as to have something here so Claire can “see” him everyday *tear*. I immediately agreed and said I’d be happy to do this for him and we scheduled a time to meet-up here in Everett.

Michael and Claire, as well as Michael’s brother and sister showed up to our house about an hour before sunset; the golden hour. I recommended we shoot outside in a large field close by and we packed up some lighting gear and headed out.
