Clarito and Kristina both work with Sarah at T-Mobile. Sarah actually did all the work with booking this wedding. This was the first time that I didn’t personally have anything to do with booking the client. It actually was a little unorthodox as Clarito had initially wanted his friend to photograph the wedding but turned out wanting him to be IN the wedding instead. That’s when they hired me to shoot the wedding, and of course I’m happy they did 🙂

Before the big day, I was really looking forward to photographing this wedding. I had heard plenty about it from Sarah as she worked with Kristina as she was planning the wedding. Clarito and Kristina’s style is one that the camera loves.

The day started with Sarah and I making the one hour drive North to get those beautiful getting-ready shots. Kristina’s apartment and Clarito’s friend’s apartment were the backdrops. I had a second shooter coming along to help with the day but he wouldn’t be there until later so Sarah manned up and headed over to shoot the guys. She came out with some beautiful images.

Next, everyone headed over to the amazing Hotel Bellwether on Bellingham’s waterfront for putting on the dress, portraits, and finally the ceremony. The hotel was…AMAZING! Truly a beautiful location.

From there, the party started down the road at Windows on the Bay. The red and black theme really came out here. Amazing food, great live band, great dancing, and even Clarito getting up and playing and singing with the band led to a perfect evening of fun and emotions.

Upon meeting them for the first time, you can tell that they are head-over-heels in love with each other.
