I recently got to hang out and do another session with one of my favorite little clients, Mackenzi Rose Moore. This shoot is part of our “Baby’s First Year” package which is soon to culminate with her birthday party here in a month or so. I can’t wait to shoot her smashing cake in her face 🙂

We were supposed to do this shoot a couple of days before we actually did but Sarah got into a car accident right before we were about to leave (she’s ok. We went to the hospital and after being monitored for about an hour, baby is perfectly fine). I scouted this location before going in beautiful blue skies but on the day of the shoot, the clouds moved in a bit. We made it work though and came out with some fantastic images.

We ended up going to some fields right by where Katie and Joe live up here in Everett, by Paine Field. A perfect backdrop with high grass, crunchy leaves, and large trees covering up all the industrial building and airport facilities right by. I actually ended up bringing my computer chair to use as an antique looking prop for the little muffin to sit on. I also feel proud that I talked both Katie and Joe into being in some pictures, or at least part of them. See below 🙂
