Everett Portrait Photographer – Mat Evans In The Studio

Everett Portrait Photographer - In Studio Session (1)

A couple of weeks ago, I invited a friend of mine, Mat Evans, into the studio for some portraits. This was because of a couple of reasons; I’ve been wanting to shoot him, I wanted to shoot some shots in film for my OneRollFifty2 project, and lastly, I was bored that day and wanted to get behind the camera.

This was a pretty laid back shoot. I didn’t tell him what to wear anything and I didn’t have any props or anything, we just set up a black background and some lights and had fun. I actually love these kind of shoots where we’re just chatting the whole time while occasionally taking some images.

Mat had a family member that played for the New York Giants football team so he is a big fan. This day he happened to be rockin’ a Giants hat and I immediately wanted the head down, moody image.
